Nowadays critics are quick to call out cultural appropriation via social media, but according to comedian Andrew Schulz, he uses the terminology “appropriating cool” and points out that rich people never cry out about taking trends from other cultures and says that only “broke people” do the complaining. Early this year, Justin Bieber was slammed over his short-lived dreads hairstyle and Schulz told DJ Vlad that he thinks it’s “preposterous” that it’s considered a “Black thing.”
