SHARE – Tray Deee earned musical acclaim as one third of the rap group Tha Eastsidaz, and recently the Hip-Hop OG gave VladTV an exclusive interview during which he discussed details pertaining to his prison bid.

The reflective rap vet confirms that the shooting that took place which snatched years of his freedom stemmed from “being in the wrong place at the wrong time with good intentions.” Tray also makes very clear that while it was the work of informants that led to his arrest, neither Snoop nor anyone from his camp had anything to do with it.

Tray eventually explained that he originally faced 122 years due to his past firearms convictions. However, his astute team of five lawyers was able to get the sentence down to 12 years.

Watch the clip to hear how Tray Deee’s faith in God helped him through the darkest hours, and why he chose not to enter protective custody while behind bars.
